Rob McGowan of RiverImage.com has joined The Pain Resource Center, Inc. as the new marketing director. Rob has been a new media designer since 1995 and will expand some great ideas to bring the TMJ Scale test to the masses. The TMJ Scale test is recogized by the American Dental Association and has been used by dentist as a diagnostic aid to determine temporalmandibular problems for over 20 years.
The TMJ Scale is a sophisticated diagnostic test. It collects information about physical symptoms and then analyzes this information to determine if the probability of a TMJ disorder is high. The TMJ Scale falls into the category of diagnostic tools called "psychometric tests." This type of testing instrument has a long history of use going back over 100 years.
